God as the Lover

God
as the Lover

Sant Mat Quote of the Day:

"The Vaishnava Saints have depicted God
as the Lover and the Bhakta as the beloved
in their devotional songs. Another popular
relation between Bhagan [God] and Bhakta
[Devotee, Premie] is that of the Master and
the servant, but the more favorite relation
developed and strengthened by the Alvars,
is that of the husband and wife, of lover
and Beloved. Bhagwan is always described
as the lover with pure, selfless, and
unending love."

(Sant Ravidas and His Contemporaries,
R. Chandra and K.L. Chanchreek)

Ghetto Physics - New Film

Ghetto Physics - New Film

I watched Ghetto Physics last night, the latest project by William Arntz, director of What the Bleep. Found the language to be a bit annoying at first but stuck with it. I relate to what Joe Vitale said in his review: "As I watched Ghetto Physics, I felt defensive, alarmed, disgusted, and then on to entertained, educated, and finally enlightened."  It makes some valuable observations. Maya is "the Game".
