The main segment is titled: The Opposite of "Not One Of Us" is "We Are All One”, an essay documenting how Sant Mat historically has never been limited to only "one" living master (Sant Satguru) at a time but there have always been multiple lineages of masters alive in the world contemporary with one another. In terms of Sant Mat history, there has never been a time during the last several centuries when there was “only one” Sant Satguru operating in the world. The reality is there have been multiple lineages of spiritual masters contemporary with one another since at least the time of Kabir and Guru Nanak in the 14th century. Both Guru Kabir and Guru Nanak were founding gurus who appointed successors. These are guru lineages now spanning many generations. Also mentioned are the Sants of the South (Maharashtra), and lineages affiliated with Sant Dadu Dayal, Sant Dariya Sahib of Bihar, Sant Tulsi Sahib of Hathras, and Soami Ji Maharaj (Sant Radhasoami Sahib) of Agra.

The Third Level of Satsang (Association with the Writings of Masters and Saints)

"In daily life we need the guidance of a great sage or saint. Even though we might encounter many so called mahatmas or sadhus, the task of finding and identifying an accomplished guide is difficult. So, in consideration of this, how would satsang (association with a true saint) be possible? The answer is that we can study the teachings of the great saints of the past, because in their teaching we will find the elaboration of the Truth. This then is the third category of sat-sang. Generally, when we speak of satsang, it is this third category that is meant. This kind of satsang includes the study of scriptures and the words and writings of the saints and prophets of the past.

"As we continue diligently in this third type of satsang we accumulate the meritorious karmas which will lead to the meeting with a true saint. Then we will be able to do the second category of satsang. As we continue in association with a great saint, and with the saint’s blessings, we will gradually begin to meditate and undertake the prescribed spiritual disciplines. By diligently practicing these disciplines, we will one day, experience the first category of sat-sang — the association with the Supreme Being. When we have thus accomplished the highest category of satsang, our life’s purpose will be fulfilled." (Swami Santsevi Ji Maharaj)

For a very long time I’ve been a collector, researcher and lover of books. These are for the most part translations of writings from other places and other times: Egypt and the Middle East, Near East, and further to the East, as in India. These can be described as sacred texts, rare spiritual classics, world scriptures, writings of mystics, saints, Sufis, and especially the Sant poet-mystics of India. I also continue to have a major interest in those “lost books of the Bible” or what’s known as “extra-canonical” or “apocryphal” texts — in other words, someone else’s scriptures — other Bibles from other branches of Judaism, Christianity, and various Gnostic movements of the ages.

I find it to be rather liberating actually to be able to explore the roots of a spiritual path or world religion, to take things right back to the very beginning, or before the beginning, opening one’s self up to significant and sometimes fairly radical discoveries, coming upon new or unanticipated insights or realizations about what is genuine, authentic, meaningful, and true. This approach of examining the foundations of spiritual movements, no longer bound by time, no longer tethered to one’s own particular cultural province or bias, in my case has caused me to change my religion on more than one occasion over the decades, and make other major course corrections along the way!

Below Are NOTES About Today's PODCAST (12-5-19): 

One can say the journey is far, that much of the inward journey remains to be traversed...so many planes, so many levels, so many heavens to pass through on our way back to God. There is however, another way of seeing this, whether experienced in meditation or not. Heaven may seem far, and yet, the Reality is that it is near — close by — in our midst, within us, even now, in the living present. We are already connected to the Positive Power, the God Power as we repeat (do the simran) of God's Name, see the Inner Light, hear the Inner Sound. Here’s something to rest upon and be inspired by: Whether we know it or not in our experience, the soul is already in Sach Khand, has always been in Sach Khand. There’s no other place for the soul to be other than the soul level (Sat Lok, Sach Khand, the true, eternal, timeless dwelling-place of all souls). We are (the soul is) wearing several coverings: physical, also subtle bodies: astral, causal, mental, and etheric. We have to contend with the outer distractions of the five senses, and yet, our true identity remains what it always has been: soul or spirit. Sant Mat Meditation is about knowing this, experiencing this, shifting awareness from the outer world to the world of within. We are drops of soul consciousness from the Ocean of Love. We are already in heaven but don’t know it. And, as Rumi might say, this is “the Secret of Secrets”. A great Master by the name of Huzur Baba Sawan Singh was once asked, "How long does it take you to go to Sach Khand (the spiritual realm, Sat Lok)"? He closed his eyes for fifteen seconds, and then opened them again, saying, "just that long". This is the real Secret of secrets. Whether it takes fifteen seconds or perhaps longer, may you experience this for yourself in meditation.

The Books of First Enoch, Second Enoch, and Third Enoch ONLINE:

Behold, the scripture about Enoch the prophet, who communed with God and, while alive, soul traveled through the heavens, hearing heavenly sounds, seeing heavenly lights, colors, encountering many beings and visions. The Enochian literature represents some of the earliest scriptures of humanity articulating the off-world concept of soul travel, that human beings while alive can explore various heavenly realms, that indeed, it's is part of our spiritual journey that we do experience such visions, that this is intended to be the norm... part of our heritage, a paradise lost that can easily be found again... a mystical journey back to eden we're all invited to take.

As it says of Adam in the Garden of Eden existing, not physically in this realm, but in the Third Plane called Paradise, one of the inner regions of consciousness:

1) Enoch and the Dead Sea Scrolls: The book of First Enoch was part of the Dead Sea Scrolls Bible -- the Essene Library of Qumran in Israel. First Enoch was included amongst the Dead Sea Scrolls, in fact was one of the most widely read holy books at Qumran (400 BC -- 70 AD). This observation is based upon the large number of Aramaic Enoch fragments that have been found there. Many Jews were studying Enoch before and during the time of Jesus.

2) Jude Quoted Enoch in the New Testament: The author of the Book of Jude quoted First Enoch in his New Testament epistle (letter), a great canonical endorsement for the Book of Enoch by the Original Jesus Movement. The Bibles that bare the most resemblance to the Scriptures of Jude and the Original Aramaic-speaking Christians is the Ethiopian Bible, as well as the Dead Sea Scrolls-Essene-Qumran Bible. Jude not only quotes from Enoch, but also from the Assumption of Moses. Both Enoch and Assumption of Moses were recognized as Scripture by the Essenes; see more on the Ethiopian Bible below. In addition to Jude, Biblical scholars also have noticed many parallel verses and shared ideas between the New Testament and Book of Enoch, illustrating how influential the Book of Enoch was on Jesus, the authors of the Gospels and other New Testament books. The Book of First Enoch is an important key foundational text of early Christianity.

3) The early Church father Tertullian Referred to Enoch as "Scripture": The Early Church father Tertullian quotes passages from the Book of Enoch, referring to these passages as "Scripture". The Epistle of Jude (verse 14) is also appealed to by Tertullian as a testimonial to the authority of Enoch. (see, De cultu feminarum. 1.3)

Tertullian's canon of the Old Testament included the deuterocanonical books, since he quotes most of them. He also cites the Book of Enoch as inspired, and thinks those who wanted to remove it were wrong. (Tertullian.org)

Barnabus, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Origin and Clement of Alexandria were also fans of Enoch: The Book of Enoch was extant centuries before the birth of Christ and yet is considered by many to be more Christian in its theology than Jewish. It was considered Scripture by many early Christians. The earliest literature of the "Church fathers" is filled with references to this mysterious book. Second and Third Century "Church fathers" like Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Origin and Clement of Alexandria all make use of the Book of Enoch. Tertullian (160-230 C.E) even called the Book of Enoch "Holy Scripture". The Ethiopic Church included the Book of Enoch as part of their official canon of the Bible. 4) The Epistle or Letter of Barnabas: Like some other major leaders, Barnabas quoted from Enoch, even using the term "Scripture" to describe Enochian passages. See, the Epistle of Barnabas, translated in the book Early Christian Writings -- The Apostolic Fathers, published by Penguin Classics.

5) Enoch is in the Bible: The ETHIOPIAN BIBLE INCLUDES THE BOOKS OF FIRST AND SECOND ENOCH: The Ethiopian Bible contains the books of Enoch (and several other surprising books once banned and thought to be forever lost), thus preserving this earlier understanding dating back to the time of the Dead Sea Scrolls and New Testament that viewed Enoch to be an inspired sacred text.

The Sound of God is within everyone -- this Holy Stream of Sound is within every living thing. This is why those given to exploring the Kingdoms of Inner Space through meditation, be they from the East or the West, have discovered this Reality playing within themselves.

Today I share my research into the inner Sound mysticism of the Judeo-Christian traditions and Gnosticism.  Before the Sufi mystics of Islam, in ancient times there were Gnostics: Jewish, Hermetic, and Christian mystics who described hearing the Sound, and seeing mystic visions of Light and the heavens while in deep states of meditation.
