Every Day is an Opportunity to Meditate and Study the Teachings of the Masters

Every Day is an Opportunity to Meditate and Study the Teachings of the Masters

"If we listen to Satsang every day, and we do Bhajan Simran every day, then we will definitely get success on this Path, and we will be fit for getting the Grace of our Masters." (Baba Ram Singh Ji)

The Third Eye in Meditation: “Close your eyes as in sleep, and look sweetly, lovingly, intently into the middle of the darkness lying in front of you. You will see a dark veil. That which sees the dark veil within, without the help of your physical eyes, IS the inner eye.” (Kirpal Singh)

"The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God's eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love." -- Meister Eckhart

"Saints come into this world and They enlighten us. They remind us of our True Home of God Almighty -- our True Father. They encourage us to go back. And They motivate us to go back. So, we are indeed fortunate to get this human body and get this life. And it is with the Grace of God Almighty that we have the company of the Masters. Now, we should make the most of that and follow the Teachings of the Masters and make the efforts to go back to our True Home." (Baba Ram Singh)

"Morning time is ideal for meditation. But anytime is good if we are sitting for meditation." (Baba Ram Singh)

"We cannot do or listen to Satsang once in a fortnight or once a month because our love and affection in the world outside is drawing us all the time. And if we want to get that love and affection towards our Master and towards God Almighty, then we have to bring it into our everyday life."  (Baba Ram Singh)

"That is why we should do our Bhajan Simran every day and we should listen to Satsang every day and fulfill the purpose of the life that has been given to us."  (Baba Ram Singh)

"Recognize the Path to your Beloved, O travelers and take the route of the anguished lover in separation. Keep the Master’s grace in your thoughts, and reflect upon his pure teachings. Develop love and devotion with endearment, and keep the thought of the Creator always before you. Try to merge yourself into God like water and water. Fix your mind within by following the Path of the Sound Current. A yearning will arise; make then an intense and anguished call. Repeat the Name of your Beloved, day and night, again and again and again. With care in thought, word and deed, you will cross to the other shore." (Sant Dadu Dayal)

Prioritizing Daily Spiritual Practice

Prioritizing Daily Spiritual Practice

"Saints have adopted three methods to get our salvation, that is — Satsang, seva, and Bhajan Simran. So, we have to listen to Satsang lovingly every day. And make it a habit of listening to Satsang every day. And second is to do seva. Wherever we are, where there is a gathering of satsangis or there is any Satsang program, we should do physical work there. We should help by doing that physical work. But we should do so lovingly. And we should be particular that we do not carry any ill feelings about any fellow sevadar, or have any envy, or have any anger towards any other sevadar or any other person. We should do it lovingly and we should do it when we are doing our Simran. Or we should do it when we sing some bhajan of the Masters. But make sure that we do not have that ill feeling while doing that seva. If we do so lovingly, then seva is as good as Bhajan Simran. It is like a cash transaction. When we do seva, immediately, the burden of karmas gets redeemed — provided we do it lovingly and provided we do not have any ill feelings or we do not engage in slandering about others, or getting some envy or anger towards others.

"So, these are the three methods. One is to listen to Satsang every day. Second is, whenever possible, to do seva lovingly. And third is to do Bhajan Simran again every day. These three, if we do, then we get the pleasure of the Master and His hand of Grace comes upon our head and He showers His Grace and helps us, not only in our duties as householders, but also on our spiritual path. So, these are three things that we have to remember always. One is Satsang to be heard every day; second is seva to do whenever possible lovingly; and third, is to do Bhajan Simran every day." (excerpted from the satsang discourse, Till We Overcome Those Attachments And Entanglements Outside, The Soul Will Never Be Able To Withdraw And Go Inside, August 15th, 2022, by Baba Ram Singh)

The Message of the Masters is Sadhana, Spiritual Practice - Light and Sound on the Path

The Message of the Masters is Sadhana, Spiritual Practice - Light and Sound on the Path

"You have to keep on doing Simran and, gradually, with the continuous practice of Simran, Dhyan Bhajan only, the mind can focus and come up to the Third Eye, see the Radiant Form of the Guru and hear the Sound Current. So, Simran is very essential. And if one continuously does Simran, however unfocused the mind is, it gradually gets to the Third Eye. As one keeps on doing Simran repeatedly and regularly, the mind keeps becoming more and more pure. And, as the mind becomes purer, it is able to come up to the Third Eye and see the Radiant Form of the Master within. So, the Masters have always insisted upon the continuity of practice of Dhyan, Bhajan, and Simran. We often do Simran or Dhyan Bhajan for a few days and then leave it. This way we do not maintain continuity and do not do the practice as it should be done. Masters insist that the practice has to be continuous, every day, without a break." (Baba Ram Singh, excerpted from a 2015 satsang discourse on meditation practice, How Bangali Babu Got Control Of His Mind)

Nonduality Reality -- Spiritual Practice, Not Just Theory or Belief

Nonduality Reality -- Spiritual Practice, Not Just Theory or Belief

“You can’t read your way to enlightenment.”
— Stephan Hoeller

"Some people believe that the Almighty and the Soul are 'one' and that to believe this is 'real knowledge'. As far as the origin of the Soul is concerned, this is true. But simply to believe this does not relieve the Soul from the knot of elements, qualities and Mind. Unless all the coverings are shaken off and the liberated Soul, by means of meditation (spiritual practice), assumes all the great powers that are attributed to God and reaches it's source by crossing at least the three grades, (Berat, Hairangarb and Abykirt — the three lowest Heavens)... it is only book knowledge and not real knowledge. Like a parrot that forgets all its learning at the approach of a cat, such book knowledge vanishes away when the angels come to pull and drag the Soul at the time of death.

"Although you are a monarch or an heir to a throne, your boast is idle unless you get freedom from jail, cross the foreign boundary and reach your throne, where everything is at your command.

"Book knowledge does not give you real freedom nor does it restore any of your spirituals powers so that you have to suffer the effects of your actions like your less 'learned' brothers.

"Let the drop of your Soul merge into the Stream of NAAM flowing into the Ocean — the Almighty, the Source of all Souls."
